Auditing Students (or “Credit Students”) may take courses and earn credits at the University of Fukui. International students register 10 class hour worth of courses per semester. To enroll as a Credit Student, you must have a Japanese language proficiency, which is equal to or higher than N2 level on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or a score of 200 or more on the “Japanese as a Foreign Language” test included in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU).
Enrollment time for Credit Students is in April and October. If you would like to apply from abroad, application periods are as follows.
April admission: October 1 – October 31 of the previous year
October admission: April 1 – April 30 of the year of application
