Hello! I'm Ma Xuan, the chairman of the Xi'an branch of the University of Fukui Alumni Association.
The Xi'an branch was established in September 2005. Most members work at research institutes or universities such as Xi'an Jiaotong University, Chang'an University, Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an International Studies University, Xi'an Technological University, Xi'an University of Posts & Telecommunications. Most of them are professors or associate professors. Some of them are presidents and deans, and they play a very important and influential role thanks to our alma mater, the University of Fukui, where we have great knowledge and experience.
The Xi'an branch encourages academic exchanges with the University of Fukui, student/teacher exchange programs, and international human resource development. I am looking forward to coming back to the University of Fukui and seeing my teachers and classmates.
福井大学学友の皆さん、こんにちは!福井大学同窓会西安支部会長の馬炫です。西安支部を代表し、ご挨拶を申し上げます。
西安支部は2005年9月に設立され、会員の多くは西安交通大学、長安大学、西安理工大学、西安外国語大学、西安工学大学、西安郵政大学などの大学、及び研究所で活躍しています。そのほとんどが教授や准教授を務め、一部は学長、学部長などの役職につき、影響力のある役割を果たしています。これは、母校である福井大学で培った知識と経験のおかげです。感謝しております。

My wife and I studied at the University of Fukui for 6 years. Professor Yoshiaki Honda has supported us a lot.
Our generation, born in the 1960s, did not have sufficient higher education in China at that time. So, in Japan, I studied again from the basics of urban design to my specialty. The 6 years of experience in Japan has given me the opportunity to work in the field of travel planning. We need to learn a lot from Japan, especially in the social sciences that Japanese researchers have studied in a very systematic and detailed manner for 80 years after World War II. I think Japan has one of the most valuable social management systems for the Chinese government to refer to.
I am grateful for the great support from Japanese professors and classmates.
私と妻は福井大学に6年間留学し、本多義明教授から多大な恩恵とお世話になりました。 私たちは60年代に生まれ、当時の中国では，中学や大学の教育は不完全で、日本で基礎教育と真の都市計画専攻の枠組みを補完しました。 この6年間の勉強は、私が帰国してから旅行計画に従事する基礎を固めた。 日本は私たちの学ぶに値するものはまだ多くて、特に社会科学、戦後八十年の日本の学者の研鑽と深化を経て、すでに非常に系統的できめ細かになりました。 中国国家が最も参考にするに値する社会管理制度は日本であると言える。 心から日本の先生とクラスメートが私の助けをくれたことに感謝します。

My name is Chen Yiping. I graduated from the Graduate School of Engineering, University of Fukui in 1996 and returned to China. In 2000, I established an IT company in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and have been operating it so far.
Hangzhou City is located in the Yangtze River Delta, the most active and developing region of the Chinese economy. I have realized that the region has grown rapidly in the last few decades. This city may be the next place for you to start a business in China other than the four major cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Canton and Shenzhen.
Study hard and be humble. At the same time, enjoy delicious food and beautiful scenery in Fukui.
I hope you can contribute to Fukui and the University of Fukui in the future.

2000年に浙江省杭州市でIT企業を創立して現在まで経営しております。
杭州市は中国経済で最も活躍する地域である長江デルタ地区にあり、この数十年間の急成長を実感しています。みなさんにとって、北上広深の次ぐらいの選択ではないかと思います。
今は謙虚な気持ちで学習に力をいっぱい入れて頑張ると同時に福井の美食、美景を十分にenjoyしてください。
